THis is gorgeous!!
I just got back from being in Arizona for a few months and noticed in the Grand Canyon’s tourist store, some artists were selling leaves like this that had been shellacked (sp?) or otherwise preserved. Simply beautiful.

Yes, this is an actual leaf Holly. They’re thick and has a leathery skin, very inspiring to paint on.
